Calvin holds court.
In November, Calvin Chua and Fiona Tan wrapped up a programme on Urban Design in North Korea, with an exhibit, short talk and discussion session. The event was the culmination of a collaborative effort between Choson Exchange, the UK's Architectural Association and the Korea-Singapore Friendship Society, to bring foreign architecture students together with Pyongyang students and professionals for a 10-day seminar, part of the AA's visiting school series.
The event was kindly hosted by Singapore's Flaneur Gallery and drew a crowd of about thirty people. A video presention was accompanied by a short talk and discussion session before some viewing of a photo exhibit, mingling and cheese and wining took place. (Though not much cheese and wine - both are shockingly overpriced in Singapore.)
