Choson Exchange Annual Report 2014

We've been busy packing in workshops since the end of the Ebola policy, running our Women in Business and Tech Entrepreneurship programs, as well as our Provincial Development Program.

This has delayed publication of our annual report for 2014 slightly, but it is now available for your enjoyment here.

It was largely a successful year, bookended by disruptions caused by a political purge at the end of 2013 and the DPRK's Ebola policy at the end of 2014. In between, we managed to train over 400 Koreans in ten workshops in Pyongyang, Wonsan and Rason. These fit into three main program categories: Women in Business, Provincial Development and Tech Entrepreneurship. We also had over 30 Koreans take part in two scholarships and three study trips abroad to Vietnam and Singapore.

We were pleased to see some of our regular participants create a new kind of shopping experience in Pyongyang and others push to have their SEZ finally gain a presence on the world wide web.

We also tried very hard to improve our engagement with the outside world, authoring two major reports, liaising with media and working to improve our blog format and facebook content as well as other social media.

Please give our report a read and let us know what you think. (On our facebook page, for example.)
